Up Up UP

The Weekly Photo Challenge for this week would seem straight forward and easy. “Up”. Yet, it proved a bit of a challenge. Ha! (No, the pun was not intended, but as it is late, the last two days are a blur, and I have lost this post three different times since starting it, the pun was caught and left in as a part of this post!)

This just seemed to rise up out of nowhere on our roadtrip.

Walking into the building the movement ‘up’ the breeze way caught my eye.

No explanation needed.

Going up anyone?

I think she may have grown up a bit.

Check out more of this week’s Weekly Photo Challenge. It really is interesting not just for the photos, but also for the various interpretations of the challenge.

Forget the Exit…Entrance Only

Weekly Photo Challenge:  Entrances

Entrances really provoke thought and imagination.

Old stone church door entrance. The contrast of color, wood, and stone captured me.

Gated entrance. The rust, metal, and wood grain seemed interesting.

The symmetry and shadows on the back entrance to this old church seemed to make for an interesting capture.

Entrance into adulthood. The front entrance to our first home as husband and wife.

The amount of stories hidden in this entrance seem endless.
