Just Ramblin’ Info~n~Contact

Welcome…to my world of Just Ramblin’. Please feel free to share your thoughts and comments.

This is my beginning. I have waited a long time to get to this point in my life. Much chaos has occurred and now here I am…writing…finally. Moment by moment. Immersed in the wind, living with love and endless laughter. Over time, I hope to ramble about life and the chaos of being me.

I currently am raising a Newfoundland pup and an elderly Chesapeake Bay. I love labs as well and have recently lost my black lab Maggie Mae. My days are busy and I am blessed.

You can find me on Facebook   and Twitter  as well as here at my blog. If you would like to email me, send it to lcjp2007@aim.com.  I hope to hear from you and be able to connect with you through your blog as well. Enjoy.

  1. Just found your blog and will enjoy following. I feel for you watching your elderly dog lose mobility. I had been anticipating this for a while with our beloved Jack Russell mix (aged 10) but, for better or worse, he was spared losing his sprightliness. Became short of breath the other week and died within about 24 hours very unexpectedly (his heart we think). Needless to say, we are devastated. I would love to have had the chance for him to grow a little older.

  8. well, darn it. a whole bunch of people beat me to handing you an award. but that doesn’t matter really. just so you know, i was going to nominate for the Versatile Blogger Award (unfortunately, that came with some rules.) i like your idea of handing out awards without rules — because you like someone’s blog, their style, their stories…

anyway, i very much appreciate your blog. i love your thoughts and your pictures and everything else.

no strings attached to this award, since you already have several, you don’t need to follow any more rules. just keep on blogging!

    best,

    linda

  11. Thank you for subscribing to my blog and leaving behind words of warmth – they mirror an encouraging and generous soul.

I have ticked to ‘follow’ your blog (but my wp is playing up, so am unsure if that request went thru’). In any event, I had book marked and plan to return.

    All good wishes, Eric

  16. Love your dogs!

I have 2 Chesapeakes myself and started my blog several months ago but didn’t really post very much until recently. I decided I started it and I should do something with it. I just write about me and my girls and the things we do.

I really enjoyed reading through your blog; you write beautifully! Looking forward to following.

Come by and check us out if you get a minute.

  17. Thank you for the encouraging words. It feels good to read them specially after a tiring day.I would love to continue visiting and conversing with you via your blog. You are part of my journey now. Take care and keep inspiring all of us .

  18. Thanks so much for the sweet comment on my blog!! I look forward SO MUCH to the day when I can get my first dog… hopefully big, but if I’m living in an apartment, any dog would be splendid!!!

    • You are welcome. From what I read when researching, believe it or not, Newfs can handle apartment life once they are out of their puppy stage they are very calm. They actually can be so calm that you have to make sure they get up and out to get exercise! : ) Hopefully when you do get that first dog, you will share about the adventure on your blog.

  19. Thank you for the words of wisdom and inspiration. The last comment you sent me was something that I will cherish for as long as God gives me the mind to think, the heart to feel and the hand to write. Each and every blog that I was destined to discover was and still is unique, enriching, a source of self reflection and growth. Yours have been one of them and I hope to journey with you in your future post.

    • Thank you so much. Your comment means a great deal to me. Your words are very motivational and inspire more depth and contemplation when posting. I am hopeful that you will continue to visit and converse with me as we both continue through our blogging journeys.

  20. I really enjoyed your blog! I hopped over to read after your sweet comments about my Luke. It’s odd – when I first saw you mention Stella, I thought you were one of “my adopters”…I am president of a dog rescue and someone recently adopted a dog named Stella from us. Then I realized it was a different Stella. Then it gets even more coincidental, because I have a dog named Maggie (aka Maggie Moo Cow), and we also had one in the rescue named Sadie Lou recently…I guess great minds think alike when it comes to names! Thank you again for your kind words about Luke, and keep up the good work on the blog!

    • I am so glad you stopped by and enjoyed reading through my blog. The coincidences are intriguing! Funny how things work out that way. :) I enjoyed your blog and will continue to read it in the future. Keep rescuing those pups…they are all worth saving. : )

  21. Hi! I just read your blog through a link on SDliving’s twitter account, and really enjoyed it! I do a similar blog, about my adventures as a working parent with a husband, a 9 year old daughter and three dogs, so I understand the chaos that can arise! I have subscribed to the blog and as a follower on Twitter. If you would like to check out my blog, it is http://www.workingmomadventures.com, and my Twitter name is NancyEady.

    Thanks for brightening my day!
