I do not have the answer to this. I wish that I did.
I have been away from my blogging for some time as things have been insane with my work and life.
I am playing with my pup. She still barks and bosses the wind and yelps at her squeak toys. She wants to run and play, but her legs and hips will not let her. Instead she lays in the yard and gives her toys the barking of their time and we carry her in and she lies on my feet for extra belly scritches and ear rubs. She takes longer to waddle her way to her favorite ‘cave’ in one of the back bedrooms to have some peace when Miss Stella starts to tell the birds and cats through the windows how to run their lives.
Go play with your pups. Love them. Throw balls for them. Let them have extra peanut butter Kongs. Talk to them. Walk with them. Hug them. Kiss them. Cherish them.
Hanging with our sweet baby, Sadie Lou, I am amazed that no matter the differences, pups always know when someone needs a friend and will be there for them no matter. Sadie did so for our sweet Maggie Mae. Miss Stella is always so playful and rambunctious forcing Miss Sadie to feel the need to boss her around. Yet Stella sleeps right next to Sadie in the middle of the night and takes time to slow down and hang with her when she has trouble walking and moving around. Unconditional love and service. Such a gift to witness.
Such a blessing to have in this life.
