Why does a dog have a paw?

Newfoundland dog, dogs, Newfie, Newfoundland puppy, Bronze , gentle giants

… to have a place to lay a weary head.

Scoot over Miss Stella. I think there is enough room on that paw for my head too.

    • Miss Stella’s paws make for great pillows until she whacks you on accident with them. She thinks she weighs only about 5 pounds and when she ‘paws’ at you, she has no idea how much strength she truly has in that one little paw!

    • Oh so true! Miss Stella pokes with hers. If you do not respond it becomes a pat with a ‘huff’, then a short burst of whine with a slight shove, and finally a flat out “Ruff!’ and push with paw that remains on you until you cave! : )
