Once again, I catch myself pulling out my camera at times I normally would have not before I began blogging. Driving to work yesterday this huge moon was sitting over an older gorgeous barn (I have a thing for barns) while the sun had already risen completely right behind me. I found this intriguing. Here I was right in the middle of the moon and the sun. This day seemed as if it was just beginning, yet the night had not completely ended. What an opportunity to start something brand new while finishing another. This moon reminded me that even though one day may have ended, it still lingers. All of the moments continue into the new day and we are allowed to carry them forward.
Just Ramblin’
Beautiful capture. I really like the colors!
Thank you. I am glad you like the colors. This place is filled with such color and surprises. We enjoy our hikes here. : )
Two lovers wooing the same price…one knocks while the other, reluctant to leave. As they preen and prance, I relish this stand-off for a moment more…
Wow. Such amazing wording. Thank you for sharing. : )
That is a beautiful picture!!! I love that time of day… so peaceful, so relaxing and full of promise of the day to come. Love the barn being part of it for I grew up in farm country I have a thing for barns too.
With that big beautiful moon it makes one fabulous shot.
Love your posts!
God Bless You!
The Collies and Chuck
And you too. Thank you so much for such kind words. That quiet moment in the morning before the day starts rolling is something to savor.
Barns are a fascination of mine as well, along with bridges and old love-needed farm houses. Very nice picture!
I find bridges to be very captivating as well. Their stature often seem so full of grace.
So very pretty Ramblin’. I love the softness of it. Ethereal really. The moon is huge! It would be lovely in Barn Charm Tuesday
Such a charming red barn, it looks as though it has a concrete or stone foundation.
Thank you very much. I have not heard of the Barn Charm Tuesday. I am headed over to check it out. That title is very intriguing. : )
What a great picture! hugs
Thanks crew. I am glad you think so. : )
Stunning! Love this photo!!
Thank you so much. I am glad that you do. : )
I love the way you caught the moon through the trees.
The moon pretty much caught me! : )
dramatic shot…and I agree with Angelia, the scene is shrouded with mystery – Twinkle
i wud like to arooooo but i’m not sure ‘cuz the sky is still blue – Vanilla Bean
Seeing the moon and sun both created a sense of awe and even mystery which is what made me stop and try to capture the moment with my camera. It was a gorgeous sight to see!
That was so deep… it should go on a bumper sticker!!
Bol Moses! : )
Love this picture. I too have a thing for barns and the moon!
Thank you. Barns and the moon just have something about them that is intriguing! : )

Very unusual.

we enjoyed that very same moon Monday, but your pic of it is outstanding! love the contrast with the barn!
Thank you. It was a stunning moon was it not? It just seemed to take over the sky. I am so glad you got to see it too. : )
THAT is absolutely stunning. You could frame it and sell it. I’d buy a copy because I just love it.
What kind of camera do you have? I need to get me one…..:-)
Thanks so much Jodi. You are too kind. The barn really made the picture. Barns just seem to yell at me when I pass them, “Stop now and take a picture!”. I have a very simple Nikon and have found that I carry it everywhere.
Gorgeous moment you captured. Intriguing and mysterious…… I love old barns too.
Thank you Angelia. Barns just seem to hold so much history and so many stories.
That is a fabulous picture!
Thank you. It was an amazing surprise to see driving down the road. : )
