Weekly Photo Challenge: Breakfast
Breakfast is not breakfast without a cup of coffee. Once the pup alarm goes off, consistent pups they are at 5:00 a.m. no matter the day of the week, I hit the floor and head straight for this.
I debated going out to breakfast and capturing a fabulous huge breakfast, but that really is not my breakfast (unless it is the first snow day of the year … tradition for us). For me, it is simple 9-grain toast with yogurt spread and a cup of coffee.
In addition to the toast and coffee, there is always a little friend to join me. This morning it was a bit warmer out, so I sat outside with the pups. Miss Sadie Lou has always given me this look when I have my toast. She is my breakfast mate.
Call me crazy but there is a heart in my coffee!
This little breakfast of mine usually gets me through several hours of chores and work. It keeps my engine running…along with a lot more coffee once I get to work.
While Miss Sadie sits patiently waiting to see if she will get a small toast corner, Miss Stella sneaks off to try and have one of her favorites, a forbidden item…the dreaded stick, even though she has already had her breakfast. Sneaky little goof-newf.
